Location:
Our Tennis academy is placed in School Area at Vlastenecké námestie 1 in Petržalka / Bratislava. It is the capital city and the biggest town in the Slovac Republic with approximately 427.000 citizens. Bratislava is situated in middle Europe, 60 km eastward from capital of Austria Wien and 200 km from Budapest - capital city of Hungary.
Fifteen minutes from the city centre is the Airport of Milan Rastislav Štefánik. From Bratislava it regularly fly many companies. Bratislava is Slovakia's largest railway junction. The capital of Slovakia is connected by regular train lines to other cities in Europe.
Slovak tennis has an interesting history. The Slovak capital it has grown, among others, Miloslav Mečíř (Olympic Champion), Karol Kucera (the world's sixth player) Dominik Hrbaty (twelfth player of the world), Karina Habšudová (hráčka tenth of the world), Daniela Hantuchova (hráčka fifth of the world), Dominika Cibulkova ( sixteenth hráčka world) and many others.
Premises:
Tennis Academy operates on the premises of the Vlastenecké námestie 1. It's small, cozy, friendly club with clay courts. During my career, for better concentration solely on tennis, I prefered training in seclusion (private courts and clubs). That's why I chose the area, which is located in a quiet environment, and offers versatile use for several sports. There you can also find a good restaurant.
